Supervisor Thomas Galvin Admits: “I Believe Maricopa County Fell SHORT In That Election” With Tabulators & Printers

In his own words, Maricopa County Supervisor Thomas Galvin openly acknowledged the failures of the 2022 election:

“I believe that Maricopa County fell short in that election when we had the issue with the tabulators and the printers… It was a searing experience. It was an awful experience because… we let down people.”

Powerful admission. He even said the buck stops here.

But here’s where it gets interesting.

Fast forward to the June 25, 2025 Board of Supervisors meeting — the same Thomas Galvin votes YES (as part of a 4-1 motion) to move forward with an “independent review” of election processes using an outside firm.

He admits the county failed voters with equipment problems… then helps green-light another review years later.

Was this genuine accountability — or just words? The public record shows him calling it a “searing experience,” yet the pattern of defending the process while problems keep surfacing raises serious questions.

Citizens deserve full transparency, not selective admissions followed by business-as-usual votes.

Times have changed. We’re watching. We’re documenting. And we won’t let them forget what they’ve already admitted on record.

That’s how it works in our constitutional republic and that’s what we’re going to keep doing. But in 2022, I believe that Maricopa County fell short in that election when we had the issue with the tabulators and the printers. And for me, that was a searing experience. It was an awful experience because I think collectively and buck stops here, we let down people.
All right. Thank you for that motion. Do we have a second? I’ll be happy to second the motion uh from Supervisor Gallardo. All right. Thank you. We have a motion and a second. Any further discussion? All in favor? Please say I. I. All opposed. The motion passes. Thank you very much everyone. This meeting is adjourned.
Life isn’t fair. It’s not fair.
