Jamie Martin Addresses the Board: “We Need a Corrective Action Plan” — Why Has Nothing Been Done?

During the March 25, 2026 Maricopa County Board of Supervisors meeting, Jamie Martin delivered a clear, professional, and reasonable request:

“The public is asking for three things: that election and recorder issues stop repeating… the internal conflict stops… and that the contracts are properly governed. What has not been presented is a clear structural solution by you. I am requesting that this [Corrective Action Plan] be placed on an upcoming board agenda for formal review.”

Jamie points out that this issue has been raised for over a year. A formal agenda request was submitted with no response in the expected 48-hour timeframe. The matter has now escalated to an active Superior Court case — and is heading toward the Supreme Court.

Instead of insults or grandstanding, Jamie offered a practical solution: a corrective action framework built into the existing complaint process — one that identifies root causes, implements fixes, and monitors outcomes so the same problems don’t keep repeating.

This is exactly the kind of constructive engagement the Board claims they want… yet it continues to be ignored.

How many times must citizens bring forward solutions before the Board actually acts?

The public is tired of the cycle. We deserve real oversight of taxpayer-funded contracts, especially those involving elections and county operations.

Times have changed. Citizens are showing up prepared, documented, and professional — demanding accountability instead of accepting the same excuses.

It is Our Duty.

Stay vigilant.
